♥ Raising the Vibration of Communication between Africans ♥
Founded in 2003, Daughters of the Dawn is a multimedia house dedicated to the empowerment of impoverished African women globally.
Daughters of the Dawn seeks to give a voice to the millions of voiceless young African women who wish to make a difference in their community by training them in video production, radio broadcasting, social media networking and community development via media advocacy.
Each year Daughters of the Dawn sponsors 2 young women from the African Diaspora to participate as media advocates in the Sojourners 4 Truth African Cultural Exchange program in Africa.
As Daughters of the Dawn, the selected young women will provide multimedia training for a group of their peers in the Motherland.
Our media advocates conduct workshops on IT literacy, social media & global networking, and community development via media advocacy.
The aim of the Daughters of the Dawn media advocacy training program is to sow seeds for a healthy partnership between our participants from the African continent and the African Diaspora.
